What’s the Difference Between Natural White Hanadama and Regular Hanadama Pearls?Updated a month ago
Natural White Hanadama pearls have not undergone the traditional pinking process used in most Akoya pearls. They are selected straight from harvest for their natural luster and color, which tends to be a bright white with silver or naturally occurring pink overtones.
Regular White Hanadama pearls go through the pinking process, a common industry treatment that enhances their rosy overtone, giving them a more uniform pink or silver-rose hue.
Natural White Hanadama pearls come with a Pearl Science Laboratory (PSL) certificate confirming that no color treatments have been applied. Because they are rarer and more challenging to match while still meeting Hanadama’s strict grading standards, they are priced higher than Regular White Hanadama pearls.
