What is the difference between Regular White and Natural White Hanadama?

The main difference between Regular White and Natural White Hanadama pearls are the treatments that the pearls have undergone.

White akoya pearls are treated with a bleaching and pinking process. This is a universal treatment done to nearly 100% of the Akoya pearls on the market today - it is an industry standard.

What sets the natural white Akoya apart, and specifically the Hanadama, is that the pearls were selected from a harvest as having the qualities naturally that the processing attempts to create. These pearls are then not subjected to the same bleaching and pinking. We have the strands certified as Hanadama grade and as natural color.
